Supported by the Vice-Rector for Research, Discovery, Creation and Innovation and the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Studies, Pathways to Transition is one of the fruits of the Université de Montréal’s Innovation Laboratory, which aims to stimulate links between research and teaching activities, to propose original perspectives and to develop large-scale interdisciplinary projects that respond to the issues facing society today. More specifically, Pathways to Transition was born out of the CLAD (Building a Sustainable Future) project, which aims to strengthen the links between different fields (energy, new materials, public health, microbiology, animal welfare, biodiversity, development) in order to stimulate both teaching and research at the interface of these poles of excellence.
