Catherine Fournier

Catherine Fournier est étudiante à la maitrise en études urbaines à l’INRS-UCS. Elle est également titulaire d’un baccalauréat en urbanisme à l’Université du Québec à Montréal.

Catherine Fournier was a master’s student in urban studies at INRS-UCS. In the context of her thesis, she was interested in the local consideration of flood risks in order to contribute in an operational way to broaden the view on the contributions and limitations of this approach: Pratiques et approches déployées pour la prévention des risques liés aux inondations au Québec : Le cas des territoires concernés par les inondations du lac des Deux Montagnes

She also has professional experience in the field of sustainable mobility and has been involved in the research project of the Labo Climat Montréal, particularly on the integration of climate change adaptation measures in the regulatory tools of urban projects in Quebec. She now works at ARTM.
