Josée is a member of the scientific committee of the independent research group on degrowth, Polemos, since May 2020. Doctor in political science (University of Ottawa) and postdoctoral researcher at the Climate Lab in Montreal at the Institut National de la recherche scientifique (INRS), Centre urbanisation, culture et société. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history (Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières) and a master’s degree in political science, international relations (Université du Québec à Montréal). Between her Master’s and her PhD, she worked in the energy sector where she implemented a knowledge management platform. In 2011, she set up AETOS energy, environment, a strategic research service company for the energy and environment sector. She is interested in energy sufficiency, degrowth and the social relations that
structure our energy consumption.
