Hélène Madénian

Hélène is a doctoral student in urban studies at INRS, Centre Urbanisation Culture Société. She previously obtained a master’s degree in management from EM Lyon, and a master’s degree in environment and sustainable development from the Université de Montréal. For her thesis, she is interested in the role of discourses in urban climate governance, as well as in the notions of carbon neutral and resilient cities.

She is an intern at the Labo Climat Montréal, which focuses on climate change adaptation in urban redevelopment in Montreal.
